While visiting relatives he stopped by my studio to do a shoot and spent the evening talking about art, culture, philosophy and state of the world. An intelligent and insightful man that has traveled the world as a model he is using his public platform to expose people to his talents as a rapper.

He wants to express emotion in every move he makes. He wants to his platform to move people and create more art with the purpose of collaborate. Our parents lived in the same apartment complex back in the day and it was my grandma being social that brought us together. Since then we've been like family. To see his following grow over the years as a musician has been inspiring. His level of dedication to the craft is matched by few.

His attention to detail was impressive. My discovery of his artistic talent was revealed in the adult years of our friendship. Recent years we have not been able to stay in constant communication but he is frequently in my thoughts.

Over the years we have cultivated a genuine friendship I believe will last years to come. Performing and developing his craft on two continents. The fall of 2016 he will attend grad school on the eastern sea board.

DJ Photographer: Thomas Massaquoi I've known Robert aka Nitecrawler since youth. He had no plans originally of becoming a DJ but in adulthood things changes. Now residing in Washington D.C he's a prominent DJ in the area.

Not sure if our taste for bespoken fashion or rugged good looks brought us closer together but I am grateful. We have consistently exchanged creative ideas and supported each other through highs and lows.

My mouth often put me center of the class and through conversations we discovered our many mutual friends. The frequent exchange of ideas and constructive criticism has been a healthy foundation.

Not one to share all of his “dopeness” with the world. I felt it appropriate to share our collaboration during an afternoon of hanging out and conversation.

Soprano Photographer: Thomas Massaquoi Judith and I met a few times in passing over the years but during an evening at a mutual friends house we discussed our respected mediums of work. I was invited to capture one of her performances. It was an honor and humbling experience. A world traveled vocalist with a heart of gold that I am glad to call a contemporary.
